Yesterday Mommy took me into the city! Soooo many new things to sniff! Then we went to a place with lots of noisy machines that smelled like soap, and Mommy went so far to the other end of the room to put towels in one of the machines that I got so scared I wriggled out of my harness and ran over to her.
We sat at a table near the opening to outside, and I could see and smell everyone who walked by. Every time another dog walked by, I would BARK BARK BARK and Mommy would say "no!" and "quiet!", but I'm not sure what those mean, so I just kept barking. One time I barked at a person walking two dogs, but when I smelled the person and the dog, I realized I knew them! It was my former Mommy from before Mommy, whose name is Sarah, and my former brother Tussot! I was soooo happy to see and smell them! I wagged so hard my whole body wiggled! Mommy Sarah had a new foster doggy named Mali, one from the shelter where I used to stay before I lived with Mommy Sarah, who was very shy and wouldn't come sniff me, so I barked at him.
Mommy Sarah is trying to find a forever home for Mali. He's very quiet, and very shy, but very well behaved. If you don't mind the fact that he has bad teeth, you could be his forever Mommy and Daddy! Mali is bigger than me, but smaller than Tussot.
Tussot and Mali and I hung out on the carpet at the opening of the place, and panted and panted while Mommy Sarah and Mommy Mickey talked. It was hot yesterday! I could handle it, as my tummy has almost no fur, and my white spots aren't as hot as my black spots, but poor Tussot and Mali have lots more fur, and it's almost all black! Poor fellas! Mommy Sarah held a little box and told us to look at her, and it made clicking noises.
I was so tired when we came home, that I just flopped right on my back in Mommy's arms, put my little paws up, and went right to sleep! I didn't get to nap for very long, though, because we went outside again, and we met new people! It was Daddy Koosh's Mommy and Daddy and Little Sister! Daddy Koosh's Mommy and Sister petted me and gave me treats, and told me how cute and sweet I am! They gave me laps to sit on and lots of petting. It was a GOOD day for a little doggy.
I don't know! I'm just a little doggy!
ReplyDeleteAwww :)
ReplyDeleteI'll field this one, Frida. The towels get kinda crunchy if we hang them to dry, so I prefer to take them to the laundromat so I can run them through the dryer.
